The victims of the 9/11 attacks have been disaster for Muslims because 19 Arabs were named as hijackers of the planes, but they've been a dream come true for the PNAC 'think-tank' whose 2000 Statement of Principles stated a "catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" would advance their policies, i.e. justify wars and "regime changes".

The 'Joan of Arc of 9/11' is the first to tackle the complicated 'mother of all conspiracy stories' in a stage performance

The 9/1l murder mystery, filled with conspiracy clues but no answers, is finally going Hollywood.
Known for the unusual and bizarre, this time a Hollywood theatre is the scene for a serious political and social event, a two hour high tech video dramatization of September 11th called "9/11 Mysteries."
The brainchild of Sophia Shafquat, called the Joan of Arc of 9/11, the play is the first one in the country to tackle the complicated 9/11 issue on stage. It opens July 17 at the Met Theatre in Hollywood and is set for a six week run with performances every Sunday.
"9/11 Mysteries" presents photographic and video evidence drawn from over 3000 web sites and 10 current documentaries, allowing viewers to create perspective and form conclusions by themselves," said Shafquat from her home in San Diego. "Without pointing fingers or making allegations, the show suggests that there is something very wrong with the 9/11 story we have heard so far.
The stage performance is broken down into four major segments, including "Demolitions, Hijackers and Planes, War Games and Who Benefits."
According to Shafquat the segments "connect the dots" in a show which should "glue people to their seats and raise eyebrows" about the implausibility of the government’s story, a story claiming 19 Arab hijackers outfoxed the American military and rammed jetliners into targets located in the most heavily guarded airspace in the world.
Regarding the four segments, she explains what audiences can expect:
"The ‘Demolitions’ portion of the show reveals what we call "woops footage" from major news networks. Much of the video aired that morning by the media giants was never aired again. While shots of the plane strike were shown repeatedly to millions, the building collapses were not. Slowed down and analyzed, the collapses are the key.
"Hijackers & Planes’ reveals anomalies about the destruction to the Pentagon, the Arab terrorists, the wandering planes, and the passenger cell-phone calls, leading into the question of why Air Force scramblers failed to intercede within minutes as standard operating procedure mandates. ‘War Games’ covers the numerous military drills in force that day.
"And the last segment ‘Who Benefits’ discusses the stock trades, the government's expanding geopolitical program, military as industry and the birth of the warfare state, connecting all the dots with clips from documentaries and the news."
She added the incredible story of William Rodriguez, the WTC janitor who heard explosions in the basement along with 14 other people seconds before the jetliner hit, is also a part of the show, adding eye witness testimony the north tower was brought down by a controlled demolition
Shafquat, an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, decided to use the theatre medium to tell the 9/11 story since the mainstream media has closed off discussion of the subject to the general public by what she called blatant censorship.
"Journalists have been censored from telling anything but the government official story," said Shafquat. "I thought this was a way to create interest and get in touch with many Americans who still have no idea about what happened on the morning of 9/11."
Called by many in the activist community the "packaging queen of 9/11" for her slick use of graphics and the visual medium, Shafquat has noticed a "second wave" of interest spreading across America about the many unanswered questions surrounding 9/11, an interest which she claims is beginning to reach America’s heartland.
"The first wave were the original skeptics, who put out books, videos and web sites but hada limited audience due to national shock and horror in the wake of the tragic event," she said. "Our show and our audience are the "second wave," those who now have only begun to ponder the plausibility of what happened that day."
The show is being directed by Paul Koslo and KPFK 90.7 (Los Angeles) has agreed to promote the event by offering free ticket giveaways during its daily broadcast.

9. The occurrence of nearly symmetrical, straight-down and complete collapses of the WTC 7 and the Towers is particularly upsetting to the “ official ” theory that random fires plus damage caused all these collapses. Even with explosives, achieving such results requires a great deal of pre-planning and expertise.
The main challenge in bringing a building down is controlling which way it falls. Ideally, a blasting crew will be able to tumble the building over on one side, into a parking lot or other open area. This sort of blast is the easiest to execute [favored by the Law of Increasing Entropy]. Tipping a building over is something like felling a tree. To topple the building to the north, the blasters detonate explosives on the north side of the building first…
Sometimes, though, a building is surrounded by structures that must be preserved. In this case, the blasters proceed with a true implosion, demolishing the building so that it collapses straight down into its own footprint (the total area at the base of the building). This feat requires such skill that only a handful of demolition companies in the world will attempt it. [Again, consistent with the Second Law of Thermodynamics.]
Blasters approach each project a little differently... [A good] option is to detonate the columns at the center of the building before the other columns so that the building's sides fall inward. (Harris, 2000; emphasis added.)
Careful observation of the collapse of WTC 7 (video clips above) demonstrates a downward “ kink ” near the center of the building first, suggesting “ pulling ” of the support columns, then the building’s sides pull inward such that the building “ collapses straight down into its own footprint ” (Harris, 2000). FEMA admitted that WTC 7 collapsed onto a well-confined footprint:
The collapse of WTC 7 had a small debris field as the facade was pulled downward, suggesting an internal failure and implosion… The average debris field radius was approximately 70 feet. (FEMA, 2002, chapter 5.)
Evidently we agree that this was a beautifully done implosion in the collapse of WTC 7, and yet:
This feat requires such skill that only a handful of demolition companies in the world will attempt it. (Harris, 2000; emphasis added.)
Consider: Why would terrorists undertake straight-down collapses of WTC7 and the Towers, when “ toppling-over ” falls would require much less work and would do much more damage in downtown Manhattan? And where would they obtain the necessary skills and access to the buildings for a symmetrical implosion anyway? The “ symmetry data ” emphasized here, along with other data, provide strong evidence for an “ inside job. ” Proof would require additional investigation and questioning of suspects outside of Al Qaeda.
One of the people a thorough investigation should question under oath would be demolition expert Mark Loizeaux, president of Controlled Demolition, Inc. Speaking of the way the WTC buildings came down, he said in an interview: “ If I were to bring the towers down, I would put explosives in the basement to get the weight of the building to help collapse the structure. ” (Bollyn, 2002; emphasis added.)
Just right – “ explosives in the basement ” agrees with eyewitness reports of explosions down low in the buildings (point 6 above). Also, this would be the way to effectively severe the support columns, consistent with both the initial drop of the communication tower (WTC Tower 1) and the “ kink ” in the middle of WTC 7 as its collapse began. Yes, and as president of Controlled Demolition, Inc., Mr. Loizeaux would know the “ handful of demolition companies in the world [that] will attempt ” a symmetrical controlled demolition. (Harris, 2000) His company is certainly one of these and was hired to do the rapid clean-up work following the building collapses. A thorough investigation might also query the owner of WTC7, who received billions in insurance monies due to the demise of the WTC buildings on 9-11. (Paul and Hoffman, 2004, p. 17)
If you still haven’t looked at the rapid symmetrical collapse of WTC7 for yourself, why not do so now? Watch for the initial “ kink ” or drop in the middle, and for the “ squibs ” blowing in sequence up the side of the building, and notice the symmetrical, straight-down collapse -- all so common in controlled demolitions. A strange Associated Press article about presidential scribblings makes a bizarre reference to a John F. Kennedy doodle in which he seemingly predicted a "9-11 conspiracy" 40 years before it happened.
AP out of the Houston Chronicle reports,
"President Kennedy, known for separating his life into compartments, would enclose words and numbers inside circles and boxes. Events long after his death give one doodle an unintended chill: A small circle with the numbers "9-11" contained within. Just to the lower left on the page, the word "conspiracy" is underlined."
The doodle is part of a new book, Presidential Doodles , which analyses the jottings of eight commanders in chief.
What kind of astronomical coincidence could see JFK - himself the target of a conspiracy - accurately forecast a major world event decades beforehand?
Is this some kind of inside joke or is it a hat tip to the 9/11 truth movement?
One thing's for sure - it's weird.

What really happened on 9/11?
On the fifth anniversary of the terror attacks, do we really know?
Some are convinced we haven't been told anything even remotely close to the true story.
A Scripps-Howard poll of 1,000 adults, conducted last month, indicated that more than a third of Americans - an astonishing 36 percent - believe the Bush administration had something to do with the attacks, either by allowing them to happen or actually carrying them out, so the United States could go to war in the Middle East.
Somewhat grudgingly, Time magazine acknowledged this week that the so-called "9/11 Truth Movement" is "a mainstream political reality."
If that's the case, these tens of millions of Americans cannot all be crackpot conspiracy theorists or wackos with Internet connections and too much time on their hands.

One of the new documentaries, "9/11: The Myth and the Reality," will have its world premiere tonight at the Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland.
"9/11: The Myth and the Reality," is by Ken Jenkins, a 59-year-old San Rafael video producer and editor. Jenkins videotaped several talks and lectures, including one at the prestigious Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, by David Ray Griffin, author of "The New Pearl Harbor: Disturbing Questions About the Bush Administration and 9/11," and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions."
Both of Griffin's books present evidence that purportedly indicates that members of the U.S. government were behind the attacks.
Jenkins has illustrated his documentary with hundreds of graphics and clips. He will be on hand for a Q&A session after tonight's premiere.
He admits that he was skeptical about the various conspiracy theories floating around in the immediate aftermath of the attacks. He thought 9/11 was merely "blowback" - terrorists lashing out at U.S. policy in the Middle East.
But he began to question the official story after reading the mounting evidence of a cover-up - not in the mainstream media, where that kind of opinion is generally ridiculed and discredited - but on the Internet, where the 9/11 Truth Movement was born and where it continues to flourish.
"I wasn't, quite honestly, paying that much attention," he recalled. "But I kept reading information that countered the official account, and I thought, 'There's something not right here.' I investigated the Kennedy assassination, and this looks similar. There's an official story and a bunch of stuff that doesn't add up."
Jenkins said he believes the war on terror is a replacement for the Cold War, and that 9/11 was the work of a small number of government officials in key positions, directing events and pulling strings behind the scenes.
He refers to 9/11 as "a false flag operation" - making it look like another group is behind the attacks - or "state-sponsored terrorism."
"State-sponsored terrorism as a way of manipulating populations to support wars is very common," he said. "It is almost the only way any wars are ever done. They are always based on some kind of lies, deceptions and false-flag operations. I didn't know that at first. It took me weeks to understand it. Now that I know that, in retrospect, it all seems obvious."

Newsday claims that around the same time, security personnel at the WTC begin working extra-long shifts because of numerous phone threats. The Tragedy
The concerted effort by the media and the government to silence Rodriguez is the tragedy behind this American hero’s story. And there is no question, Rodriguez is a "silent hero" for saving so many lives and for having the courage to continue telling his story against tremendous odds.
In an effort to open a fair and honest investigation as to why the WTC collapsed, Rodriguez has been ignored by government officials, the 9/11 Commission and the National Institute of Safety and Technology (NIST).
NIST, an independent investigative group funded by the government, put the finishing touches this week on its 2 year $35 million 9/11 investigation. This week Rodriguez made his final plea to have his story heard while testifying at the final public hearing held in New York.
"I disagree 100% with the government story," said Rodriguez. "I met with the 9/11 Commission behind closed doors and they essentially discounted everything I said regarding the use of explosives to bring down the north tower.
"And I contacted NIST previously four times without a response. Finally, this week I asked them before they came up with their conclusion that jet fuel brought down the towers, if they ever considered my statements or the statements of any of the other survivors who heard the explosions. They just stared at me with blank faces and didn’t have any answers.
"Also, The FBI never followed up on my claims or on the other part of my story when I told them before 9/11, I encountered one of the hijackers casing the north tower."
Besides the explosions, Rodriguez also has provided testimony to the 9/11 Commission that he stumbled across one of the supposed 19 Arab hijackers inside the WTC several months before 9/11
"I had just finished cleaning the bathroom and this guy asks me, 'Excuse me, how many public bathrooms are in this area?'" Rodriguez told the 9/11 Commission. "Coming from the school of the 1993 [Trade Center] bombing, I found it very strange. I didn't forget about it"
Rodriguez, claims he saw United Airlines Flight 175 hijacker Mohand Alshehri in June 2001, telling an FBI agent about the incident a month after the attacks. Never hearing back from the bureau, he later learned agents never followed up on the story.
"I'm very certain, I'll give it 90%" that Alshehri was casing the towers before the attacks," said Rodriguez.
Regarding the media’s apathetic approach to his story, Rodriguez said immediately after 9/11 some newspapers picked it up but his words were never taken seriously and quickly forgotten.
"During the 9/11 hearings, NBC brought a crew out to my house and spent a day taping my story but they never did air a word of it," said Rodriguez. "Since then, some reporters and commentators have subtly warned me to keep quiet, told me my life could be in jeopardy and warned me that I really didn’t understand who I was dealing with.
"I have been receiving this type of subtle harassment for years, but I keep telling everybody I can’t be intimidated because I am on a mission. Whenever someone asks why I keep talking or warns me that I could be killed, I just tell them I have nothing to lose.
"I tell them I lost 200 friends and I am their voice now. I tell them I will do everything in my power to find out the truth since I am living on borrowed time since I probably should be dead anyway."
Besides trying to tell his explosive story, Rodriguez has been active raising money for 9/11victims, being involved with charity groups that have raised more than $122 million. He says he has used over $60,000 of his own money, originally earmarked to buy a new house, in order to get at the truth behind 9/11.
Also seeking justice at the highest level, Rodriguez is the lead plaintiff in a federal RICO lawsuit filed against President Bush and others, alleging conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes in the deaths of more than 3,000 at the WTC.
The case, filed last November in a Philadelphia federal district court, recently was moved to New York in a change of venue after a government’s motion to dismiss was overruled, allowing legal discovery to continue.
"Even if the case goes no farther, I feel we have scored a victory by winning this first battle," said Rodriguez. "At least the judge seems willing to listen which is a victory of sorts. However, I sincerely hope we can eventually take the case all the way to trial and reveal the truth to the American people about 9/11."

Philadelphia lawyer Phil Berg has never tried to climb Mt. Everest. In the past, he’s always attempted “legal mountains” within his reach. But since filing a 2004 federal RICO lawsuit against President Bush and others for complicity in 9-11, the Pennsylvania attorney finally knows what it’s like to try to scale the world’s tallest peak.
“I thought it was going to be tough, but I didn’t think this tough,” Berg told AFP from behind a mountain of legal paperwork in his one-man Philadelphia office. “I am undermanned, overworked and under-financed, but still optimistic that justice will prevail.
“Either our government made 9-11 happen or let it happen. I am going after them for foreknowledge, failure to warn and actively covering up the crimes they committed.
Remember, Nixon was thrown out of office only for a coverup. These people, including Bush, have done much more,” said Berg in an exclusive interview.
“We need to bring these criminals in government to justice for killing over 3,000 Americans [and] the thousands who have needlessly died in Iraq and Afghanistan.”
Without much support or media attention at home, Berg has left on a seven-stop European tour to try and raise money and awareness about the U.S. government’s involvement in 9-11. The speaking tour begins in Amsterdam then continues to Berlin, Paris, Madrid, London and Vienna.
“This is a major lawsuit with worldwide implications, but the media has chosen to ignore it. Why?” asked Berg, saying the lack of public attention has not damped his efforts at getting at the truth behind 9-11.
And the extensive 237-page complaint, filed in November 2004 on behalf of WTC maintenance worker William Rodriguez, attempts to get at the truth while unraveling the complicated fact-scenario involving the government’s hand in 9-11 before, during and after the attacks.
Although Rodriguez doesn’t claim to know everything about the government’s complicity, he is going to testify that he heard strange explosions before and after the jetliner struck one of the towers.
Rodriguez, working at the WTC on the morning of 9-11, claims to have heard detonated bomb explosions. Besides the timing of the suspicious bomb blasts, Rodriguez claims they occurred on lower floors of the high-rise.
Independent investigators said both towers suspiciously fell “like a house of cards,” claiming that Rodriguez probably heard pre-arranged detonated bomb blasts, strategically placed and timed to make it appear that the jetliner was the cause of the collapse.
From the beginning, the government has always held firm to the story that burning jet fuel after impact brought down the towers. However, critics claim the government’s theory is impossible since much more was needed in order to bring the towers down so quickly. They claim it is more likely that explosive devices were placed in the towers and detonated when the jetliners made impact.
Besides trying to disprove the government’s theory behind the WTC collapse, Berg’s suit goes much further, attempting to prove that a 9-11 conspiracy began years before the incident.
“The beauty behind a RICO case is that we are allowed to use as admissible evidence facts and events that occurred many years before and even years after 9-11,” said Berg about his choice to use the federal RICO laws against Bush and his cronies. “The government normally uses RICO for Mafia probes, but in this case it’s a conspiracy within the government itself that the RICO laws can help expose.”
After filing the case, government lawyers were quick to go on the offensive, filing a motion to dismiss on grounds of national security, among a number of other legal maneuvers in order that the case never see the light of day.
“They have tried everything to stop this case from being heard,” added Berg.

William Rodriguez, is a native of Puerto Rico, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the State of New Jersey. On September 11, 2001, and for approximately nineteen years prior thereto, Rodriguez was employed as a maintenance worker at the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York, New York.
On 9/11, Rodriguez single-handedly rescued fifteen (15) persons from the WTC, and as Rodriguez was the only person at the site with the master key to the North Tower stairwells, he bravely led firefighters up the stairwell, unlocking doors as they ascended, thereby aiding in the successful evacuation of unknown hundreds of those who survived. Rodriguez, at great risk to his own life, re-entered the Towers three times after the first, North Tower impact at about 8:46 A.M., and is believed to be the last person to exit the North Tower alive, surviving the building's collapse by diving beneath a fire truck. After receiving medical attention at the WTC site for his injuries, Rodriguez spent the rest of 9/11 aiding as a volunteer in the rescue efforts, and at dawn the following morning, was back at Ground Zero continuing his heroic efforts.
Rodriguez lost his employment of 19 years and his means of earning a living as a direct result of the attacks on the WTC on 9/11. Deeply affected, as one might imagine, by his experiences of 9/11, Rodriguez has, in a variety of capacities and through several different organizations, worked ever since that terrible day to help others who were affected by the atrocities committed. He has continued in these labors, notwithstanding the fact that, due to the loss of his employment, he has been unable to earn a living, and was even homeless for a time.

Coming on the heels of reports today that government operatives are trying to assassinate someone highly critical of the Bush administration, William Rodriguez, the WTC janitor who has been speaking out across the nation about a 9/11 government conspiracy, came home to find his Jersey City apartment burglarized Saturday.
Rodriguez, who has damaging eye-witness testimony that bombs exploded in the WTC basement prior to the airplanes striking, said today his apartment was burglarized between 12:30pm and 7:50pm after retuning home and noticing his second-floor apartment door wide-open.
Rodriguez immediately filed a police report with Jersey City police, but there are no leads or suspects in the case, as neighbors also reported seeing nothing while Rodriguez was out.
“I came home to find my door open,” said Rodriguez in a telephone conversation Saturday night from his apartment just after police left the crime scene. “They didn’t destroy the place, but took my lap top with all my vital information, as well as one of my video cameras and all of my girl friend’s jewelry, including an expensive engagement ring.”
Rodriguez expressed concern over the burglary since earlier in the day he received a “warning email” from contacts close to Washington investigative journalist Wayne Madsen, who received credible information his life may be in danger.
Rodriguez was notified because he also fits the description of the potential government target, as the inside intelligence source that leaked the information to Madsen said the target was not specifically mentioned by name, but fits the description of both Madsen and Rodriguez.
“I just received this email this morning, warning that someone who fits my description is going to be targeted,” said Rodriguez, concerning the communication highly sensitve communication he received from John Caylor, a friend of Madsen who is spreading the word to others potentially in danger.
“Now, the robbery in my apartment is highly suspicious, considering the timing of the email. I wonder just who is being targeted? I notified police about it and everybody needs to be careful.”
Madsen, highly critical of the Bush administration, left Washington for several days and is taking the warning seriously while keeping his whereabouts secret.
“I am laying low for a few days,” said Madsen in an email Saturday from an undisclosed location. “The threat, although not directly to me personally, was credible enough to leave D.C. for awhile.”
Madsen, a former National Security Agency employee turned reporter, has been a thorn in the side of the Bush administration for his inside reports, revealing financial corruption linking the Bush administration to major foreign and domestic scandals, including 9/11.
Rodriguez has also been highly critical of the Bush administration lately, spreading his message across the country in numerous public speeches about his story about the 9/11 cover-up has been withheld from the American people by a systematic censoring of his words by the government and the media.
The long-time WTC head maintenance man holds key information literally destroying the government’s officials story and theory about how jet fuel was solely responsible for bringing own the WTC.
What makes his eye-witness testimony even more damaging to the government is that it can be corroborated by numerous eye-witnesses who have also been censored by the government and media.
Although Rodriguez’s story has been told freely without censorship overseas in a number of foreign markets, the American media as well as the 9/11 Commission has seen fit to suppress his story, a story that very well could lead to pinning the Bush administration with high-crimes related to the 9/11 cover-up.
The recent assassination threat coming from inside Washington has also been taken seriously by Rodriguez, who in the past has on numerous occasions turned down government bribes to keep him quiet.
Since 9/11, Rodriguez has remained steadfast in his determination to tell the truth despite the enormous odds, saying he owes it to all those who lost lives at the WTC, including more than 200 personal friends and acquaintances who perished on 9/11.

Billionaire philanthropist Jimmy Walter and WTC survivor William Rodriguez this week embarked on a groundbreaking trip to Caracas Venezuela in which they met with with the President of the Assembly and will soon meet with Venezuelan President himself Hugo Chavez in anticipation of an official Venezuelan government investigation into 9/11.
Rodriguez was the last survivor pulled from the rubble of the north tower of the WTC, and was responsible for all stairwells within the tower. Rodriguez represented family members of 9/11 victims and testified to the 9/11 Commission that bombs were in the north tower but his statements were completely omitted from the official record.
Jimmy Walter has been at the forefront of a world tour to raise awareness about 9/11 and has still yet to receive any response to his million dollar challenge in which he offers a $1 million reward for proof that the trade towers' steel structure was broken apart without explosives.
Rodriguez said that he was told an FBI agent had asked the hotel him and Walter were staying in turn over a list of names of residents. Upon hearing this, the National Assembly provided armed military protection for the entirety of the trip. In addition, Walters said that CIA agents were seen surveilling the beach on which he and Rodriguez had handed out free DVD's a day earlier.
The US government attempted to sabotage the trip by putting Rodriguez, who has been decorated at the White House itself, and Walter on a no fly list.
Rodriguez (pictured above) and Walter are educating top Venezuelan officials on the evidence that 9/11 was a self-inflicted wound carried out by the military-industrial complex. They have also appeared on every Venezuelan television and radio station both private and state owned and have given huge presentations to major universities.
Upon visiting, Rodriguez said that the President of the Assembly, Nicolas Maduro's home was brimming with books, videos and documents about the 9/11 cover-up. Maduro, Venezuela's top legislator, intoned that he was ready to create an international investigative committee, looking into the "international crime scene" that is 9/11 and that this would be structured via Hugo Chavez's government

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took his verbal battle with the United States to the floor of the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday, calling President Bush "the devil."
"The devil came here yesterday," Chavez said. "He came here talking as if he were the owner of the world."
The leftist leader continued his animated speech with repeated references to the U.S. government and Mr. Bush as imperialist, and warned of a growing movement "of the south."
Chavez hailed the recent meeting of the Nonaligned Nations, presently headed by Cuban President Fidel Castro, as an indication that the international bloc, which generally espouses views contrary to those of the U.S., was growing.
He asked the international community to lend it's support to the movement, even suggesting the U.N. realign itself more closely by relocating to somewhere in the southern hemisphere. "I have suggested Venezuela," he said.
Chavez several times accused Mr. Bush of have a double standard on dealing with terrorism. He said the U.S. government was "protecting terrorists" who were involved with anti-government actions in Venezuela, including a former CIA operative and militant Castro foe wanted in Venezuela for the bombing of a Cuban airliner that killed 73 people.
Before leaving the podium to applause, Chavez, again inciting the "devil" reference to Mr. Bush, said, "it smells of sulfur here, but God is with us!"

The US military has spent billions of dollars developing stealth aircraft which are invisible to radar so they can mount surprise attacks on adversaries, but it seems they should have saved their money and bought a fleet of airliners because they appear to be far more effective.
On 9/11 the world's only military superpower was apparently oblivious to the location of rogue airliners in it's airspace for over an hour, and military commanders were left perplexed on how to deal with the situation of hijackers using these planes as flying bombs.
This confusion resulted in fighter jets flying around aimlessly whilst the hierarchy fully assessed what was going on, and this total lack of cohesion ultimately led to the loss of nearly 3000 lives.
All that was required to overcome America's military might on 9/11 were 19 hijackers on 4 airliners.

Amazing: At least ten independent professional studies for an incident every professional seems already to understand. Notwithstanding the apparent lack of answers and all these studies not yet done, the very next paragraph is headed, "How the Towers Fell," and the reader is treated to a shotgun assortment of speculations, each delivered with the beard-stroking and pipe-puffing certainty that no explanation would ever be seriously challenged.
I have found only one expert candidly admitting his surprise. This was Mark Loizeaux, president of Controlled Demolition, Inc. of Phoenix, MD:
Observing the collapses on television news, Loizeaux says the 1,362-ft-tall south tower, which was hit at about the 60th floor, failed much as one would like (sic) fell a tree. That is what was expected, says Loizeaux. But the 1,368-ft-tall north tower, similarly hit but at about the 90th floor, "telescoped," says Loizeaux. It failed vertically, he adds, rather than falling over. "I don't have a clue," says Loizeaux, regarding the cause of the telescoping.

Re: Controlled Demolition, Inc. and the quote from Loizeaux, its president, mentioned above, Controlled Demolition Inc. was hired to clean up the debris at the WTC after 9/11 at Ground Zero.
There was one highly qualified engineer in New Mexico who thought the collapse could only happen with the help of demolition explosives, and he was foolish enough to make the statement publicly.
Romero is a former director of the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center at Tech, which studies explosive materials and the effects of explosions on buildings, aircraft and other structures.
Romero said he based his opinion on video aired on national television broadcasts.
Romero said the collapse of the structures resembled those of controlled implosions used to demolish old structures.
"It would be difficult for something from the plane to trigger an event like that," Romero said in a phone interview from Washington, D.C.
Romero said he and another Tech administrator were on a Washington-area subway when an airplane struck the Pentagon.
He said he and Denny Peterson, vice president for administration and finance, were en route to an office building near the Pentagon to discuss defense-funded research programs at Tech.
If explosions did cause the towers to collapse, the detonations could have been caused by a small amount of explosive, he said.
"It could have been a relatively small amount of explosives placed in strategic points," Romero said.
The explosives likely would have been put in more than two points in each of the towers, he said.

But Romero recanted ten days later and admitted the whole thing was perfectly natural and unsurprising. I wonder what happened in those ten days to make him so smart on the subject so quickly. The retraction is now displayed above the original on the Albuquerque Journal web page.

This model would also hold for the north tower. According to Chris Wise's "domino" doctrine, the collapse began only at the floor with the fire, not at the penthouse. How was it that the upper floors simply disappeared instead of crashing to the earth as a block of thousands of tons of concrete and steel?
In trying to reconstruct and understand this event, we need to know whether the scenes we are watching are edited or simply shown raw as they were recorded.
But let us return our attention to the fire. Liquid fuel does not burn hot for long. Liquid fuel evaporates (or boils) as it burns, and the vapor burns as it boils off. If the ambient temperature passes the boiling point of the fuel and oxygen is plentiful, the process builds to an explosion that consumes the fuel.
Jet fuel (refined kerosene) boils at temperatures above 160 degrees Celsius (350 F) and the vapor flashes into flame at 41 degrees Celsius (106 F). In an environment of 1500 degrees F, jet fuel spread thinly on walls, floor, and ceiling would boil off very quickly. If there were sufficient oxygen, it would burn; otherwise it would disperse out the open windows and flame when it met oxygen in the open air — as was likely happening in the pictures that showed flames shooting from the windows. Some New Yorkers miles distant claimed they smelled the fuel, which would indicate fuel vapors were escaping without being burned.
Note that jet fuel burning outside the building would heat the outside columns, but would not heat the central load-bearing columns significantly. Following this reasoning, the jet fuel fire does not adequately explain the failure of the central columns.
Whether the fuel burned gradually at a temperature below the boiling point of jet fuel (360 C), or burned rapidly above the boiling point of jet fuel, in neither case would an office building full of spilled jet fuel sustain a fire at 815 degrees C (1500 F) long enough to melt 200,000 tons of steel. And certainly, the carpets, wallpaper, filing cabinets, occasional desks — nothing else in that office was present in sufficient quantity to produce that temperature.
The WTC was not a lumber yard or a chemical plant. What was burning?
OK, since it was mentioned, I am also upset with the quantity of concrete dust (see http://www.civil.usyd.edu.au/wtc.htm#why or http://www.public-action.com/911/jmcm/usyd/index.htm#why). No concrete that I have ever known pulverizes like that. It is unnerving. My experience with concrete has shown that it will crumble under stress, but rarely does it just give up the ghost and turn to powder. But look at the pictures — it is truly a fine dust in great billowing clouds spewing a hundred feet from the collapsing tower.

In the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., which brought down the twin 110-story towers of the World Trade Center and damaged the Pentagon, designers and contractors say they are skeptical that signature structures can be hardened against extreme acts of barbarism.
"Only the containment building at a nuclear powerplant" is designed to withstand such an impact and explosion, says Robert S. Vecchio, principal of metallurgical engineer Lucius Pitkin Inc., referring to the hijacked Boeing 767 airplanes, heavy with fuel, that slammed into each WTC tower.
The attacks appeared to be coordinated and in parallel. In Manhattan, at least two hijacked Boeing 767 airplanes, one with 92 people on board and the other with 65, crashed into the World Trade Center's twin towers, disappearing within and triggering fire and explosions. The north tower, called One WTC, was hit at 8:45 a.m.; the south tower, Two WTC, at 9:03 a.m. Another hijacked airliner, a Boeing 757 with 64 people on board, crashed into a section of the Pentagon at 9:40 a.m.
Some 50,000 people work at the World Trade Center and some 23,000 at the Pentagon. Specifics on death tolls and damage were not available at press time. WTC rescue efforts were put off until Sept. 12 because the area was still a "hot zone" late in the day on Sept. 11, with falling debris from the stumps that were once among the world's tallest buildings, and a thick blanket of soot for blocks around. In addition, the 47-story Seven WTC collapsed in the evening, causing more chaos. "It'll take about a year to clean up" the remains, says Vecchio.
Sources close to the carnage indicate that those below the 89th floor in the north tower and the 60th floor in the south tower were most likely to have survived. Reports indicated that at least 200 of the 400 firefighters at the scene are presumed dead and 78 police officers were missing.
The twin towers, framed in structural steel, had exterior moment frames with 14-in. steel box columns spaced 39 in. on center. The configuration created a complete tube around the building. The central steel core carried gravity loads only. The exterior tube provided all the lateral resistance. Horizontal steel trusses spanned 60 ft from the exterior wall to the core. Concrete on metal deck completed the floor diaphragm.
Each tower contained about 100,000 tons of steel and 4 in. of concrete topping on the 40,000-sq-ft floors, according to Henry H. Deutch, assistant to the chief structural engineer for construction manager Tishman Realty & Construction Co. Inc., New York City, during the construction of the WTC and currently head of HHD Consultants Inc., Osceola County, Fla.
Deutch says that originally, the north tower contained asbestos in its cementitious fireproofing as did the first 30 stories of the south tower. He believes the asbestos, which had been encapsulated, was removed after the 1993 bombing. In a press conference, Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani said the city's health department had tested the air in the area and found no undue amount of chemical agents.
The attacks were witnessed by hundreds of people in each of the locales. Vecchio, who was part of the investigation of the 1993 bombing of the WTC, was an eyewitness to the Manhattan debacle from Pitkin's office about 1¼2-mile north of the trade center. "The explosions were so tremendous," he says. "You could smell the jet fuel in the air."
Millions across the nation also "saw" the towers collapse, through live television news coverage. The south tower fell at 10 a.m. and the north tower at 10:29 a.m.
Reports indicate that the impact of each plane compromised the structural integrity of each tower, knocking out perimeter columns and the interior structure. The explosions then caused further damage, sweeping through several floors. "These were airliners scheduled for long flights, full of fuel, causing massive explosions," says Richard M. Kielar, a Tishman senior vice president. "No structure could have sustained this kind of assault," says Kielar.
As the fires burned, the structural steel on the breached floors and above would have softened and warped because of the intense heat, say sources. Fireproofed steel is only rated to resist 1,500 to 1,600° F. As the structure warped and weakened at the top of each tower, the frame, along with concrete slabs, furniture, file cabinets, and other materials, became an enormous, consolidated weight that eventually crushed the lower portions of the frame below.
Jon D. Magnusson, chairman-CEO of Skilling Ward Magnusson Barkshire Inc., Seattle, one of the successor firms of Skilling Ward Christiansen Robertson, structural engineer for the original World Trade Center, agrees: "From what I observed on TV, it appeared that the floor diaphragm, necessary to brace the exterior columns, had lost connection to the exterior wall."
When the stability was lost, the exterior columns buckled outward, allowing the floors above to drop down onto floors below, overloading and failing each one as it went down, he says.
A big question for implosion expert Mark Loizeaux, president of Controlled Demolition Inc., the Phoenix, Md., is why the twin towers appeared to have collapsed in such different ways.

Survivors Saw Tragedy (9/12/01)

On that fateful sept. 11 day, craig Trykowski, laborer for Henegan Construction, was doing construction for Lehman Bros. on the 34th floor of the World Trade Center's north tower when the first plane hit.
"I was trying to clear the area of sheetrock ...and just as I was filling the dumpster, the whole building shook, it swayed back and forth," recalls Trykowski. "I thought at first it was an earthquake." He and 70-odd workers hit the stairwell as water pipes broke and panic flared. As he went down, a group of firemen were going up, never to be seen again.
From across the street, where the Port Authority police had moved them, "I saw 15 people jump out of windows....It was so sickening because it looked like they were dummies thrown out the windows."
Trykowski was one worker who escaped the pair of terrorist crashes that decimated the World Trade Center Sept. 11. Tony Sweeney, a controller for the brokerage firm Jarban Intercapital, was also able to vacate his 55th-floor office in time. But some employees of companies such as the Regional Alliance for Small Contractors and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey were unaccounted for at press time later that day. Raytheon Infrastructure Inc. occupied an office on the 91st Floor of Two WTC. Architect Mancini-Duffy was also in the building. About 200 members of Local 3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers were employed there, too.
John Pascu, an electrical engineer for Parsons Brinckherhoff, New York City, was sending off e-mails from his 74th floor office in WTC One when "the building shook tremendously," he says. "I thought I was going to die." Pascu was one of about 20 PB staffers working there on the Port Authority's $1.5-billion light rail link to John F. Kennedy Airport. Pascu walked down 74 flights to exit the building. "I learned that emergency lighting is essential."
Less than 20 minutes later, Greg Kelly, a PB vice president, was on a subway with associates Yalcin Tarhan and Lou Silano, senior structural engineers, to try to aid rescue efforts. But upon arrival, the group was "stuck in a subway filling with smoke," says Kelly, who saw the second plane careen into WTC Two. When they reached the street, "there was no visibility and the debris was an inch thick. It was very eerie and desolate," he says.
The catastrophes will have a monumental effect on the construction industry, including shifted priorities regarding major projects, says Robert Prieto, PB chairman. "The emphasis on security at airports will go through the ceiling, and there will be new focus on building an underground defense facility. Defense spending will go up," he predicts. "The economy in this region will take it on the chin. The world as we knew it has just changed."

A nun who spent six months blessing human remains in the rubble at Ground Zero says she is dying of lung disease and wants her body autopsied to prove that she and her fellow 9/11 workers were sickened by the poisonous air at the site.
Sister Cindy Mahoney, 54, summoned David Worby, the lawyer representing thousands of sick Ground Zero workers, to her Aiken, S.C., hospice last week and requested that he act as her guardian and fulfill her dying wish by overseeing her autopsy after she's gone. "I can still do God's work," Mahoney said Thursday in Aiken, her hometown, where she lay connected to oxygen tubes.
She was surprisingly upbeat, even laughing at jokes — which reduced her to violent coughing.
"She's an angel," Worby told The Post after meeting with Mahoney privately. He said she hugged him warmly, cried, and told him how her previous pleas for help had gone unheeded.
"The government should help these An investigation by the Environmental Protection Agency's inspector general into official statements about air quality after the collapse of the World Trade Center has found that White House officials instructed the agency to be less alarming and more reassuring to the public in the first few days after the attack.
The draft of the inspector general's report also says the agency "did not have sufficient data and analyses" to make a "blanket statement" when it announced seven days after the attack that the air around ground zero was safe to breathe.
"Competing considerations, such as national security concerns and the desire to reopen Wall Street, also played a role in EPA's air quality statements," the report said.

Mahoney, a former emergency-medical technician, dashed from a Midtown convent and hopped on an ambulance to Ground Zero after the first plane hit the World Trade Center's north tower on 9/11. She stayed there through the night. She then donned her habit and spent nearly every day for the next six months as a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the city medical examiner's fatality team.
Officials said Mahoney was a chaplain at Ground Zero and at Pier 94, where she consoled relatives of those killed. She was photographed for People magazine that October, and told the publication, "Some people just want to hold our hand."
According to Worby, she now suffers from asthma, reactive airways dysfunction syndrome, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease — all severe illnesses that have plagued WTC workers.
Only after spending weeks at Ground Zero was she given a respiratory mask, Worby said, but she was not told how to use it. And because her job was to pray and talk to people, "she kept taking it off."
Mahoney also suffers post-traumatic stress syndrome, Worby and others said. She witnessed WTC victims burn or jump to their deaths, and prayed over countless human remains.
Unaware until recently that many others who worked at Ground Zero were sick, Mahoney last week tracked down Worby, an outspoken advocate for the health of 9/11 workers. He filed the first lawsuit for a leukemia-stricken NYPD detective who served at Ground Zero and the Fresh Kills landfill, a case that mushroomed into a massive class action with 8,000 WTC workers.
If Mahoney joins the suit, she would leave any money to those in need, she said.
During the meeting, a priest friend, Father Scotty, gave Mahoney Communion.
"She would do it all again. She would give her life again," the priest said. "She still believes God's mission for her is to help, through her death, the other 40,000 rescue and recovery workers get medical care, testing and coverage," Worby said. "She feels that anyone who gave their lives for others should be taken care of better than she's been taken care of."

A 9/11 toxic dust whistleblower, a ground zero hero and one of the individuals influential in the release of documents proving a government cover-up that deliberately put police, firemen and rescue personel at risk, has been raided by a New York SWAT team - who ransacked his home for three hours after he was arrested.
Major Mike McCormack is a hospital technician and civil air patrol pilot who worked the ground zero site for eight days after the collapse of the twin towers. He is one of the real heroes of 9/11 and was the man who found the American flag that was later displayed as a token of unity atop the rubble.
Within hours McCormack was coughing up black mucus and within days he was coughing up blood as the toxic dust that was deliberately covered up by the EPA poisoned his lungs along with all the other rescue workers, police and firemen who were being used in photo ops by Bush and his cronies while their very livelihoods were being endangered by a government cover-up.
McCormack now suffers from an extreme respiratory sensitivity, has a 5-millimeter metal nodule in one lung and has been forced to give up his passion of scuba diving.

Northwoods Memorandum (March 13, 1962) (PDF)Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 plan to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government of Fidel Castro as part of the U.S. government's Operation Mongoose anti-Castro initiative. The plan, which was not implemented, called for various false flag actions, including simulated or real state sponsored acts (such as hijacked planes) on U.S. and Cuban soil. The plan was proposed by senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders, including the highest ranking member of the U.S. military, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Louis Lemnitzer.
The proposal was presented in a document entitled "Justification for US Military Intervention in Cuba," a collection of draft memoranda (PDF) written by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) representative to the Caribbean Survey Group. The document was presented by the JCS to Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara on March 13 with one paragraph approved, as a preliminary submission for planning purposes.
The previously secret document was originally made public on November 18, 1997 by the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Review Board [1], a U.S. federal agency overseeing the release of government records related to John F. Kennedy's assassination. [2] [3] A total of about 1500 pages of once-secret military records covering 1962 to 1964 were concomitantly declassified by said Review Board.
"Appendix to Enclosure A" and "Annex to Appendix to Enclosure A" of the Northwoods document were first published online by the National Security Archive on November 6, 1998 in a joint venture with CNN as part of CNN's 1998 Cold War television documentary series[4]—specifically, as a documentation supplement to "Episode 10: Cuba," which aired on November 29, 1998. [5] "Annex to Appendix to Enclosure A" is the section of the document which contains the proposals to stage terrorist attacks.
The Northwoods document was published online in a more complete form (i.e., including cover memoranda) by the National Security Archive on April 30, 2001. [6]

N E W Y O R K, May 1, 2001 In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.
Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.
The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba's then new leader, communist Fidel Castro.
America's top military brass even contemplated causing U.S. military casualties, writing: "We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba," and, "casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation."
Details of the plans are described in Body of Secrets (Doubleday), a new book by investigative reporter James Bamford about the history of America's largest spy agency, the National Security Agency. However, the plans were not connected to the agency, he notes.

WASHINGTON - U.S. military leaders proposed in 1962 a secret plan to commit terrorist acts against Americans and blame Cuba to create a pretext for invasion and the ouster of Communist leader Fidel Castro, according to a new book about the National Security Agency.
"We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and even in Washington," said one document reportedly prepared by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. "We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba," the document says. "Casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of indignation."
The plan is laid out in documents signed by the five Joint Chiefs but never carried out, according to writer James Bamford in "Body of Secrets." The new history of the Fort Meade-based eavesdropping agency is being released today by Doubleday.
NSA regularly picks up the conversations of suspected terrorist financier Osama bin Laden, says Bamford, and has monitored Chinese and French companies trying to sell missiles to Iran. He provides new details about an Israeli attack on a Navy eavesdropping ship in 1967, suggesting that the sinking was deliberate. And he reveals the loss of an "entire warehouse" full of secret cryptographic gear to the North Vietnamese in 1975, at the end of the Vietnam War.
Bamford, a former investigative reporter for ABC News who wrote "The Puzzle Palace" about the NSA in 1982, said his new book is based mostly on documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act or found in government archives. "NSA never handed me any documents," he said. "It was a question of digging."
He said he was most surprised by the anti-Cuba terror plan, code-named Operation Northwoods. It "may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government," he writes.
The Northwoods plan also proposed that if the 1962 launch of John Glenn into orbit were to fail, resulting in the astronaut's death, the U.S. government would publicize fabricated evidence that Cuba had used electronic interference to sabotage the flight, the book says.
A previously secret document obtained by Bamford offers further suggestions for mayhem to be blamed on Cuba.
"We could sink a boatload of Cubans en route to Florida (real or simulated). ... We could foster attempts on lives of Cubans in the United States, even to the extent of wounding in instances to be widely publicized," the document says. Another idea was to shoot down a CIA plane designed to replicate a passenger flight and announce that Cuban forces shot it down.
Citing a White House document, Bamford writes that the idea of creating a pretext for the invasion of Cuba might have started with President Dwight D. Eisenhower in the last weeks of his administration, when the plan for an invasion by Cuban exiles trained in the United States was hatched. Carried out in April 1961, soon after Kennedy became president, the Bay of Pigs invasion proved a fiasco. Castro's forces quickly killed or rounded up the invaders.
Army Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, presented the Operation Northwoods plan to Kennedy early in 1962, but the president rejected it that March because he wanted no overt U.S. military action against Cuba. Lemnitzer then sought unsuccessfully to destroy all evidence of the plan, according to Bamford.
Lemnitzer and those who served with him in 1962 as chiefs of the nation's military branches are dead. But two former top Kennedy administration officials said yesterday that they were unaware of Operation Northwoods and questioned whether such a plan was ever drafted.
"I've never heard of Operation Northwoods. Never heard of it and don't believe it," said Theodore Sorenson, Kennedy's White House special counsel. "Obviously, it would be totally illegal as well as totally unwise."
Robert S. McNamara, Kennedy's defense secretary, said: "I never heard of it. I can't believe the chiefs were talking about or engaged in what I would call CIA-type operations."
Bamford writes that besides the Joint Chiefs, then-Assistant Secretary of Defense Paul H. Nitze also favored "provoking a phony war with Cuba."
"There may be a piece of paper" on Northwoods, said McNamara. "I just cannot conceive of [Nitze] approving anything like that or doing it without talking to me."
The book contains many other revelations in its detailed account of NSA, the biggest U.S. intelligence agency and Maryland's largest employer, with more than 25,000 personnel at Fort Meade, site of its global eavesdropping efforts.

The recent news of a C-130 transport plane that crashed into an apartment building in Tehran, Iran, is a horrible tragedy; one that eerily recalls the events of 9/11/01.
Firefighters managed to put out the fire in the building, which was damaged and charred but still standing. Police cordoned the building and debris field, preventing journalists and a crowd of as many as 10,000 people from getting close to the site. Many in the crowd were screaming, afraid their relatives had been killed. Several hours after the crash, the building still was smoldering.
What catches the eye of the alert reader is the fact that despite a fire inside the structure, it remained standing.
Which brings one to consider the planes that hit the World Trade Center towers, the fires that burned and, according to the official story, melted the steel core of the buildings and caused them to collapse.
Forgive me for being a skeptic regarding anything the U.S. Government swears is the official story, but it seems that two steel skyscrapers built in the most powerful and advanced country in the world would stand more of a fighting chance against aircraft hits than a ten-story apartment building in Iran. The twin towers were built to withstand the strike of a commercial airliner, something I can't imagine the designers of the apartment building even considering in their plans. Yet, a C-130 crashes into a ten-story building, ignites a fire, and yet the building doesn't crumple into its own footprint? [The media is now saying that the plane "clipped" the building.]
Which brings me around to the stupendous amount of evidence supporting the idea that carefully rigged explosives brought down the towers; a controlled demolition. This could possibly be written off as hysterical "conspiracy theory" if it wasn't for the testimony of eyewitnesses, survivors, firefighters, news reporters on video that actually aired in real-time on the morning of 9/11 and in the following days!

For almost three years since 9/11 independent researchers have stockpiled individual smoking guns which prove that the official version of events was not only a lie but operationally impossible.
However, no single smoking gun has yet been forwarded to explain why air defenses categorically reversed Standard Operating Procedure and failed to respond to hijacked jetliners.
Until now. More and more individuals are looking at the facts and highlighting exercise drills that took place on the morning of 9/11.
It is clear that at least five if not six training exercises were in operation in the days leading up to and on the morning of 9/11. This meant that NORAD radar screens showed as many as 22 hijacked airliners at the same time. NORAD had been briefed that this was part of the exercise drill and therefore normal reactive procedure was forestalled and delayed.
The large numbers of 'blips' on NORAD screens that displayed both real and 'drill' hijacked planes explain why confused press reports emerged hours after the attack stating that up to eight planes had been hijacked. Click here for that article.
The drill scenario also explains a comment made by air traffic control personnel which was featured in a July 2004 BBC television report. Click here for that video clip and article. The controller is told that a hijacked airliner is heading for New York and responds by saying, "is this real world or an exercise?"

From what I've been reading about "fair use", news stories are given greater leniency then fiction. And my personal feeling is that I've recontextualized the footage.

People can do absolutely anything they want with the footage as far as I'm concerned, but keep in mind my interpretation of the footage as "fair use" is just that... my interpretation. If you use it commercially, no telling what Fox will do.

Update: Uploaded source material. I've received numerous requests for the CNN and FOX live news coverage, so have re-digitized it and compressed it to MPEG-2. While I can't completely isolate the news feeds (as that would be 2 hours of copyrighted news footage), I've simplified the split screen and increased the size so both FOX and CNN each have a dedicated audio channel, and 480x480 resolution. Given the low quality (EP VHS) of the source material, there's not much more to see then that.

Update [2006-02-11]: I've seen a very interesting video called Loose Change 2nd Edition (download here). I can't vouch for its accuracy, but it raises some interesting charges that were completely new to me. I've created a conspiracy rebuttal video before, and generally don't consider myself one to spread charges that haven't been proven true. But on the other hand, the 9/11 Commission Report IS flawed. It may provide a distinct chronology of events, but I no longer consider it an accurate account. I now recommend anyone interested in watching my 9/11 Chronology video also watch "Loose Change 2nd Edition", and follow up with some research of their own. Hopefully I'm not spreading mis-information by promoting Loose Change, but I have the same concerns about propagating the 911CR version of events. I put a caveat on my video: I don't claim to know its accurate, just that it accurately restates some of 911CR's findings.

9/11 Chronology - Source Material (2004)
Have received many requests for source footage used to create "9/11 Chronology" (on 20041102.Last.Chance DVD). So I've simplified the split-screen to being a 2-way, with no timecode overtop, and no pop-up-video information. Probably the most basic I can reduce the footage to and still have some sense of it being recontextualized.
The ideal aspect ratio for watching this footage is 8:3 (4:3 doubled horizontally). That's pretty close to 2.21:1 as I've tagged the MPEG-2. Computers seem to play it back fine...
